The Food Bank’s mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin, where even before the pandemic, 1 in 5 neighbors was at risk of hunger. On the heels of the government shutdown and a devastating lapse in SNAP benefits for 90,000 households in SF and Marin, more neighbors have turned to the Food Bank to nourish their families.
