Hello, my name is Ian, and I am a student at San Domenico School and a part of their Virtuoso Program. Food has always been something important to me, a meal sustains us through each day, and is a way to bring people together. Food gives each of us energy and nourishes all aspects of our health. Yet, more than 1 out of 5 people struggle with food insecurity in California. This means that every day these people will wake up without knowing if they will be able to put food on the table for their families, or have to choose between paying for food or paying for other necessities. This is why I have decided to arrange a Virtuoso Program holiday concert fund drive, to help raise awareness around the reality of hunger in California and help feed those who need it. Please consider making a donation of any size, there is no amount too little, as every $1 donated can help supply two meals to people in need.
